I’M ZHIPENG LI

I am a first-year PhD student at ETH Zurich, advised by Prof. Christian Holz.

My research interests lie in understanding human perception of digital environments and in designing novel interaction techniques that are closely aligned with perceptual processes. To this end, I develop models of human perception and computational methods to optimize user interaction experiences in Mixed Reality.

I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Tsinghua University, China. I worked with Professor Michael Nebeling at the University of Michigan and Professor Jan Gugenheimer at TU Darmstadt. Additionally, I was a research intern at the Augmented Perception Lab, led by Professor David Lindlbauer at Carnegie Mellon University, and at the Sensing, Interaction & Perception Lab, led by Professor Christian Holz at ETH Zurich.
